Yea i had the same problem when she was younger. Now I can see her everyday, and she has a bunch of places to hide she just chooses to stay outside. When I put her in a brand new enclosure I put her enclosure in a plastic bin with ventilation of course but the point was that she was in the dark for at least for two in a half weeks then I took her out and by that time she webbed out her enclosure very nicely and now I guess since she did, she feels comfortable outside her hides.

Mine was out and about when I first got her as a juvi, that's her in my avatar, but after a few weeks she started building her own hide completely ignoring the one I'd given her. She's covered the whole construction in substrate and now I only see a leg or two every couple of months. She even moulted in there and chucked her old exo out in bits.

Lol yea they can be scary but don't let that stop you if anything you can get a obt sling very small and work your way up
