My 8 legged fix

Well what a day i have had, what started off as a sunday of painting and other DIY at home soon turned interesting. As some of you might know i have been looking for another t.stirmi. My current stirmi is still a juvenile, and as impressive as it is, i have found myself wanting to take it to the next level, im impatient and the wait till another molt to see how much bigger it gets is in the distance. I spent afew hours last weekend driving round different exotic pet shops and suppliers, searching the internet high and low to try and find an adult. I needed it BIG!!! Of course buying an adult could possibly leave me with a spider that wont live very long, but thats a risk i was willing to take to get my fix. I managed to find a male, a very big boy, poor thing is missing a leg aswel lol but i walked away empty handed because i was convinced i could find a female, which is what i really wanted. Ive done nothing but think of him though all week, how thick his legs were and just his sheer size. Anyway, today my missus was piping on about getting some new blinds for the bedroom window, i told her i was too busy with other jobs to go buying and fitting blinds today. To which she replied "if you go and get the blinds now you will still have time to go and get that goliath you looked at and ill buy it for you"!!!!! How could i turn that down haha. So i got the blinds and then drove like a man possesed to the shop where id seen him. I was in and out in 5 minutes with my new monster of a spider. Ive got him in a temp enclosure and ive rehoused my juvenile so i could clean the exo terra ready for the dividing project im going to do (i will do a step by step thread showing what ive done incase anyone would like to try it or see how it turns out lol). Anyway heres BRUCE (as in bruce banner, the incredible hulk) [emoji1]

He's a looker, I like that dark mask over his eyes. You should find an adult female and get him laid:) I was just thinking that I stopped buying tarantulas before I replaced my mm stirmi. I think I'll try to find a female right now, thanks for the push:p

Phew! How big is that sucker? Are you going to get him a leash and take him for walks? Congrats on getting what you wanted, but man, I think you should have got him before you started painting and paid him in crickets to do the job for you. I bet he could reach!
