Do all Latrodectus sp fall under the DWA act 1974 I can’t find info on it
So many legs have them but will only sell to someone with a DWA licenseSadly I believe so. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
I have heard of several cases where people got them or other spiders without realising, then applied successfully for a dwa.

I’ve looked into it in the past think I’m gawna need to do it need it for Brazilian wandering spider too, also atrax sp but I’m not nearly interested in one of them yetCos they are a British company that don't want to get in trouble, which is fair enough.
I only mention the cases where people retrospectively applied for a dwa to show you that it is possible for a lot of people to get a dwa. They just want to see that you have the animal secured to prevent escape and injury to others, and I think you have to get it insured + to a vet also.
Edit: just a thought but @LC72uk would be able to tell you what applying for a dwa is all about.

They all belong to Theridiidae and many species are not very poisonous. Male black widows are not able to penetrate human skin...It says Theridiidae of the species of the genus Latrodectus so is there any Latrodectus sp that don’t belong to the family Theridiidae?
Phoneutria are all beautiful spiders, very fast jumpers! If you get a Phoneutria sp. at some point, I will be nagging for constant pictures and updates!!! Lol
