So bad mistake I let my girlfriend watch my T's and you may remember I posted that she dug up the burrow thinking my T was dead. Still couldn't find her and I told her to stop right away.... She was using metal tongs. Anyways... When I got back to Indonesia I knew right away my OBT was fine. She had been putting food ire. A in and they disappeared.. But there was an entrance to the burrow. Saw the leg a few days later and movement

Anyway my lasiodora. Molted about a week ago.
She didn't pounce. On the food right away but it appears to be gone now however .. She seems very skiddish.... I go to. Change the water and she's moving all around.... More. Aggressive or. Aggravated. Is this normal? She was docile before.... Moving slow but now. Seems more defensive. Wondering what's up.

As always love u guys. Thanks for help in advance

I'm glad to hear that you're OBT is ok.

The Lasiodora may still be feeling stressed after the moult. They are still vulnerable after moulting and may just be feeling nervous still.

Mine have both been quite calm until food was on the scene.
I'm literally scared of mine;)...not really but you know what I mean. You cant put anything in her enclosure...she will try to eat it. Maybe she will calm down some day when she realizes everything's not food. Shes tried to eat my two males. Cant breed her yet. My males are calm....I can actually handle them if I wanted a huge rash.

My male was the more active of the 2 but he never ran at me. My female (6"+) is fine, I can remove her water bowl for washing with my hand and she never flinches. I know what you mean though, my Phlogiellus sp. Baeri was like that when I 1st got her, she'd run straight at me every time I opened her container. Now she's all grown up she's very calm.

She went back to her usual self in a week. Lasiodora klugi had the same care requirements and personality as other Lasiodora species.

This is an older video.

Since the fangs aren't hardened up, they can't defend themselves as well, which makes them less secure.

After the molt, just make sure they're ok and pull the molt if possible. Then leave them alone.
