is it ok to use a toilet paper tube for hide?

Toilet paper tubes tend to go mouldy very quickly so not a good idea.
I tend to avoid tubes as Ts are not so easy to get out of them once they've webbed them up.
A piece of cork bark seems to work well for most Ts, it gives the something solid to web to or burrow under.

I also find a small terracotta flower pot cut in half, with any rough edges removed works well.

I use coconut shells sometimes. Mostly because it gives me an excuse to buy coconuts.
