My father recently bought me a T as a gift. I've owned one Rose Hair before, and he knew I wanted another T eventually. He said that the lady told him it was a Mexican Red Knee, but I dont see the resemblance at all. I'm sure he was lied to, and I'm just trying to find out what kind it is. It'll help me better take care of it in the future. If you could look at the picture, and tell me what you think, that would be great!

I'm bad with identifying species, but even I can say without a doubt that what you have there is not a B. hamorii. I am not even going to take a shot at identifying said tarantula, because I'm likely wrong. I have a decent guess though. Let's summon the guru @KezyGLA

If you're summoning a guru, try plessy. There aren't any other gurus who frequent this forum.

That looks like a very pretty young Aphonopelma Chalcodes, makes for a good beginner Tarantula as well!
