Rather then move her to her new forever home, a 3.5 gallon Terra Blue enclosure, I compromised and decluttered her cube to create more room.

She's eaten a cricket and a meal worm since then.

She seems to appreciate the extra room but is quick to dive for cover at the slightest disturbance.

The hide is new, Petco's finest all of maybe $5 if that. There is a larger hole on the bottom which will enable her to tunnel into it from below if not done already.

She changed around the tunnels but I'm not sure how.

Is that an AMAC? I’ve been desparately searching for larger versions of what you have there. All the AMACs are great but I need a cheap equivalent that is bigger than AMACs offer for adults.

It's a juvenile enclosure from Jamie's tarantulas. They have 2 larger sizes for adults.

Another type of enclosure I just love is Terra Blue professional enclosures.

They're pretty cheap, usually less then $50, built like a Sherman tank, and they have the reptilock which makes it escape proof.

The screen at the top is fully bonded so claws won't get caught inside the holes. The other benefit of screens is that you can add water without opening up the enclosure. You can just crack it open a little bit to add feeders if you have a "spirited" tarantula.

Pictured is this enclosure.

Here's an arboreal one that I use for my P. striata.
