Hamsters and tarantulas

At the end of this month I'm planning on getting a Syrian hamster and keeping it in the same room as my tarantulas. I'm concerned if the ammonia from the hamster's urine would be harmful to my spiders. Of course, I'm not planning on letting my hamster's cage get soiled so I intend to do regular spot cleaning, but does anyone know if tarantulas are sensitive to the urine?

My spiders lived in the same room as my girlfriend’s hamster for about a month and I never noticed any abnormal behavior, and we had just moved so the hamster was a little stressed and probably scented a little more than usual. The tarantulas were also adjusting to the new homestead (different natural lighting, ambient humidity and things) and never seemed more stressed than I would have expected. Once again this was only about a month so longer term cohabitation might lead to different reactions, but as far as I could tell the smell, and there was some smell, didn’t disturb anyone. Good luck. Hamsters are great pets and I hope you enjoy yours.

Hamster urine can smell bad, spot cleaning YES,but some are more dirty than others. All cage animals are better kept, away from your spider.even if it's only one.Would it be harmful,it can sting your eyes?
