Grammostola rosea aggressive after molt

I have a Chilean rose hair, and she's molted twice while I've had her. I'm assuming her last molt was a little difficult for her because she sealed herself inside her hide for 3-4 weeks. Now, I enjoy handling my tarantulas(I know it's not necessary and sometimes not even recommended) and I was excited to handle her because this last molt increased her size and colors by quite a lot. However, she won't allow it anymore. When I first got her(after she had acclimated to her new environment of course) handling her was a piece of cake, she would sometimes even crawl up in your hand without you having to direct her. But now, she throws her defense pose at everything. I want to work with her and get her tolerant of handling again but I'm super scared to get bit.(I know, Rosie's' venom isn't very potent, but a bite affects you like a bee sting and I'm deathly allergic to bees and would rather not see how my body reacts to it.) I tried lightly touching her butt with a straw and she threw her defense pose. I gave her a few minutes to calm down an tried again and she pounced on the straw and attacked it. Keep in mind when I first got her, tapping her butt would only result in her walking forward a couple steps, and from the time I got her up until the last molt she had never thrown a defense pose at me. I read somewhere that Rosies can have mood swings, but this is a little prolonged. Any information helps, I just wanna know what's going on.
Thank you!

On the mood swings they don't mention it lasts from one molt to the next. Welcome to fun of raising a G. rosea :D I'd give up on trying to hold it for now, try again next molt and see how her mood is.

If you're dead set on handling her use a catch cup and remove her from the enclosure then see how her mood is, sometimes they'll settle down out of their home as they're just trying to defend their water dish and what not.

Pic looks like a G. porteri to me, some say the rosea is just a porteri in red color form, nothing proven yet though, but it's definitely not red/pink in that pic.

Thanks for the reply :D I think I might go ahead and wait to handle her until her next molt, for my sake and hers. I'm going to definitely try the catch cup at least once, cause id love to handle her but if that means me continuously pestering her I don't want to stress her out. Also, she's much much more pink since her last molt, and her legs got loooong.
Aaaanyways, thank you very much, I was really upset and worried that handling her would be a thing of the past :D

Ive seen aggressive behavior changes like this. My L dificilis and G pulchripes both had serious attitudes for a year or more before calming. A little anyway. Theyre both still rather cranky. I like spirited animals anyway. :)
