Grammostola pulchra not eating for 2 months

I have a 10-year-old Grammostola pulchra. For the past two months, I’ve noticed some concerning behavior: it has been covering its hide with webbing and drinking water from the dish much faster than before. Its body color has darkened, the golden hairs have faded, and it often stays very still, sometimes lying flat on the ground. For the last 2–3 days, it’s been lying on its side as if preparing to molt, but it hasn’t actually molted yet.
I haven’t fed it for a long time because I was worried about disturbing it if it was close to molting. Now it’s looking thinner, and I’m not sure if this is normal pre-molt behavior or if it’s actually starving. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

It sounds like it is pre molt, that is perfectly normal behaviour. One thing I do with my dry loving T's, is dampen a corner of the substrate when they look premolt, or if I miss it, just after they molt. To help up the humidity level a little. It also helps to keep the enclosure somewhere, where it will not be disturbed too much. So not too much direct light, no one walking past the enclosure etc. Just give it some space.
