For those who do not know what Freecycle is. It is an international website, which has local groups (towns) who allows people to offer items, for free. To save them going to landfill.
In the past I have had DIY tools, amateur radio bits & pieces, household items. Books etc etc. I have given someone a large plastic container as she wanted something to keep giant snails in. And I have also passed on unwanted plants, books, all sorts.
But today, I hit on the mother load of our kind of items. A 30 X 30 X 30 Exo Terra. A 60 X 38 X 22 wooden vivarium. Complete with heating mat. Exo Terra light. Thermostat. A big pile of blotting paper to use as substrate. Plus a large clear plastic box full of things like hides, plants, water bowls etc. And all for free.
Today, the Freecycle gods were very good to me.
