I'm going to provide as little context as possible, and simply tell you this is a B. Albo.

Ask any questions you like. Just looking for external opinions on this troubled spider.

I don't see any sign of white in the mouth. I don't see any odd hairs. I don't see any mites.

How old? What size? Does it have hooks on those front legs?
I'm wondering if it's a mature male.

Nope, it is in fact a mature (or almost mature sub adult) female.

About 4.5, 5".

The spiders movement is slow and frail but normal.

It is of unkown age but my guess is around 5-6 years.

It kinda sounded like DKS, but I'm not the most knowledgable.

It always could be, but I really don't think so. It's still got a pretty normal feeding response, I've had it eat twice and gave her another cricket today so we'll see.

The movement is clearly impaired but not fast or twitchy like dks. If it is dks its very very mild (if thats possible, Im no expert on dks)

DKS is a symptom not an ailment in itself and usually shows by uncontrollable leg movements (twitching) and is thought to be caused by exposure to chemicals.

Of what specifically?
The tarantula. Can you get it in a catch cup, and get various angles? I think we have all missed something, probably something simple? Maybe? I still want to know if you have bothered to take it to a university.

No, after I rehoused it and did that one photo session where it was on my hand I decided to disturb it as little as possible. You can see it from almost every angle there and I assure you you aren't missing anything.

Just out of curiosity... Do you know what's wrong with it?

No, and the best guess I've got so far is a bad molt over on AB. I just didn't want to mention that because I wanted fresh opinions. (Mature male was guessed by AB forum too, but no hooks, no boxing gloves and a very obvious female ventral say otherwise)

You know there is a problem when everyone thinks your female is a MM because of how leggy it is. Here is it's old enclosure.
