So I will be getting a new T around late February or early march. I'm on the verge of what to get, my choices are
B smithi, B emilia, B boehmi, or a avicularia versicolor. What do I get? I am completely stuck.

You cannot go wrong with any of these.

The three brachys are beautiful. You can keep them the same way: dry terrestrials. They have almost the same temperament (boehmei are more prone to kick hairs though). It's only about what dress you prefer.

Avicularia versicolor are arboreals, which is a very different experience for you to do. They are rather visible, beautiful also, and change colors with almost every molt, which makes them attractive from the very (blue) beginning.

If you want to discover the arboreal world, go for the versicolor. If it were me, I'd take another terrestrial (B smithi) and would have the versicolor as my third one.

All of those are good eaters. I've never had a problem with any of these listed eating. they'll stop eating when they go into premolt, they're not a species like the LP that eats right up till it flips over.

I agree with @Nicolas C take the terrestrials first, then the icing on the cake with the Avic ;)

Do what most of us have learned to do - if you can't decide then get them all.

I like your style, I think I have narrowed it down to the B emila or B smithi. How is Anastasia at Net bug?

She's very good to work with. One of the few vendors that care about their stock. She'll hold shipments for weather in her area or yours. Communications with her i thought were great, but then i have a weakness for accents ;)

Top vendors (US) in my opinion to purchase from-
www.petcenter.info - Paul is awesome to work with, communication is great.
www.net-bug.net - Anastasia is top notch like said above
www.fearnottarantula.com - Tanya is just amazing. She cares about her stock and cares about the buyer. I had a purchase from her she delayed for molting for 2 weeks. i got an email every other day about the progress and general chit chat stuff while we waited. She found the purchase was an early present for my son's birthday and sent him a P. vitatta sling for free.
www.kenthebugguy.com - great service and communication
