Are they unpopular? There just doesn’t seem to be much information on them.

They are pretty rare in the states...from what I've read about them they are a defensive "pet hole". Even the males are aggressive. Don't get bit...Are they unpopular? There just doesn’t seem to be much information on them.
Oh well that makes sense why I can’t find anything. Yeah I’ll definitely keep that in mind.

Just keep it like a baboon species....let it burrow deep. That way it has a place to go and feel safe.

Cyriopagopus paganus is usually just a label thrown onto any Cyriopagopus sp. which is wild caught and brought into pet trade when its identity is unknown.
I am willing to bet my house and life savings that the spider you picked up is simply Cyriopagopus vonwirthi.

Can you get a photo of the back legs at the metatarsus? Are the spinerets orange?
No he has already made his burrow that was a pic when I first got him. But I don’t remember them being orange.

You have either Cyriopagopus vonwirthi or Cyriopagopus longipes. I can’t tell you which of the two that you have.
That’s very interesting. I think it would be the longipes after looking at others.
