So, I am trying to look ahead at enclosures for my terrestrial Ts ( G. rosea, pulchra, pulchripes) and I have two that currently contain plants and smaller housings of feeder insects. They measure 18.5 inches long by 12.5 inches wide and 11 inches high. They are mostly PVC with an acrylic front lift door. On top there is a roughly 5x5 screening that I expect I would cover with acrylic. The door is about three inches above the enclosure floor and I would likely build up substrate in the back.

I am wondering if this might work for a 4-5 inch terrestrial tarantula. I have included some pictures from the manufacturer Herpcult. There are ventilation holes on the acrylic door and top.

Some of the concerns that have crossed my mind are trying to mitigate falling distance and the potential for the tarantula to build up substrate at the door.
