Okay so I was finally able to get a pic of my Rose Hair T today so maybe you all can help me figure out the sex :)

I am thinking a female? She doesn't have a dot on her abdomen and she doesn't have hooks either.

YAY! That is what I wanted lol do you think that is why she isn't the best for handling? She always comes at me or my tweezers like charging at me and will occasionally rear on her hind legs. But I don't know why. I have just heard from some T owners that females get moody sometimes once matured. I just wonder if thats why she doesn't have the greatest temperament.

has nothing to do with gender. Some Rosies are just nasty. I personally don't think any T should ever be handled, but to each their own.

Hmm okay well thank you! I didn't think it did, considering all T's are different and have different personalities. I just hope she is happy, she is always active and exploring all over the place and testing her limits, which make me nervous. And her appetite. She will eat cricket, after cricket, one after another. I have NEVER seen anything like it.

My Rosie has gone from Zen to Psycho since I got her. I have read theories that they have a difficult time adjusting to living in the Northern Hemisphere and go through cyclic mood swings that correlate with season changes.

I think the author was just trying to sound scientific about why Rosies are Bat Sh*T Crazy.

Lol thats funny! They are though its so weird I have nothing against Rosies I love them, and think they are a beautiful, hardy T, but in my opinion they aren't the best for beginners. Which I know some people may disagree. But I have came across more moody Rose Hairs than any other species of T. But I still love her. :D

Thoughts of a Rosie:

"Yes Cricket Giver, look at me. See how pretty and cute I am? I am so nice. I like you, Cricket Giver. You want to feed me, don't you? Oh, look, you are about to stick your hand in and drop a cricket...how nice. *Rosie loses it's sh#t and goes into full on threat pose* WTF IS THIS? DIEDIEDIEDIE!!!! *Rosie attacks you* What do you mean, I didn't attack you....silly Cricket Giver." Rosie then picks up its water bowl and wears it like a hat, mumbling about how it would have gotten away with it were it not for those darn kids.....

DB you are brilliant. I never knew you could speak Chilean.
I think Ramases has got tourette syndrome. He actually lays on his belly and flicks hair with all 8 legs. Sometimes he jumps up and down with rage he looks like hes in a rodeo.
Can you translate what your Brachys say DB, I would love to know there views on the cricket giver lmao.
