Looking to get this one as my next T, to replace the H. triseriatus that i lost a few weeks ago. I see it's listed as both Davus pentaloris and Cyclosternum pentalore, Which is current?

From what i've read they're raised like all my Brachy's, moist substrate as slings, dry with waterdish and hide.

Anyone have one of these already and can provide tips?

Davus pentaloris seems to be the right name now.

I kept mine more on the dry side as a sling, just a trickle of water down one side or overfill the water bowl occasionally. Otherwise mine was easy to keep, always hungry and now it's not far off full size it is always on show on top of its web.

Very rarely see mine, always burrowed.:):T:
I've been seeing if you reduce the substrate and give them a large hide they'll be out and about more. I did that with my B. vagans but he's in premolt so we'll see if he's out more after he molts.

I find they burrow as slings but after about 6 months they seem to spend most of their time on top of their web, at least mine did. It's not at all nervous, will attack the dropper when I fill the water bowl and attacks food with gusto

This is the set up mine is in at the moment, a 4" cube, although I think it will soon need a larger container.

Just such a brightly coloured T. I can lift the lid of it's container and Beck will just sit still. There are tunnels in the web where it will hide to moult.

I ordered one today :D had to add an E. campestratus (i think i spelled that right) to meet the minimum order for shipping. Should be here next week! gives me time to get the enclosures ready ;)

Anyone have one of those? the E. campestratus? Care sheets show basicly like a Brachy, but to overflow the waterdish as they need a bit more humidity. Is that accurate?
