I have no idea what these black dot almost ball like things are that are popping up in my GBB slings enclosure. They are on every corner of the small half log I have in there. They almost look like eggs of some kind. They are webbed up to each corner and I cleaned them out once before on one corner but now they are back...

Could it be substrate that the T has carried up there? Many Ts will cover their web with it.

I don’t believe so because the substrate is like a reddish brown and these balls are either black or really dark brown and they stand out amongst everything else in the enclosure.

Do you have a background or anything in the enclosure? I had some strange blue balls appear in the substrate. Turns out my b vagans was just ripping apart the background

No. All I have in there is a half log I bought from a pet store, coco fiber substrate, and a bottle cap for a water dish. And those balls are forming or appearing on each corner of the half log but nowhere else.

Could it be off the log? Cork bark often has a black layer on the underside.

Mold spores growing on treated wood. Not uncommon.

Always use cork bark or clay pots for hides to reduce mold risk
