TERMS OF SERVICE

No minimum order. I can send a PayPal invoice once you decide what you'd like to order. Shipping days are Mondays and Wednesdays with rare exceptions. The FedEx Priority Overnight shipping charge is based on your zip code. We're in New England. Best to order at least a few days before the next shipping day.

LAG applies to all FedEx Priority Overnight shipments. Required: (1) correct address (no PO boxes or mailroom boxes please) and acceptance upon first delivery attempt; (2) apartment numbers must be supplied or FedEx will not deliver and LAG will be void; (3) problems must be reported within 2 hours of delivery or 3 hours of same-day pickup at a FedEx Ship Center; (4) photographs of dead specimens with a pin through the carapace must be provided. LAG covers specimen cost or replacement, excluding shipping. Specimens arriving alive but showing poor activity are also covered if they fail to recover with advice from us; video(s) required. Contact us in the above-mentioned time frames for advice.

We use heat packs during cold weather and have an excellent record shipping at temperatures below 32℉. While it is generally safer to use a FedEx Ship Center (FSC), in cold weather the presence of a heat pack means the box should not sit long indoors; live contents may overheat. Particularly in winter, please do not let spiders sit at a FSC more than 2 hours past the time it becomes available. LAG will be void.

FedEx charges are generally lower with packages sent to FSCs and business locations. For some customers it makes sense to have packages sent to their place of work. Any heat or cool pack can be removed so the spiders can sit unpacked at room temperature. Let us know, we can adjust the time window you have to report any casualties.

Happy spidering,
steve@arachnoeden
