A bad piece of cork bark?

I have had my Rose Hair sling in this tub since I got her a couple of months ago. I decided to put a piece of bark in there for her 2 days ago and within 24 hrs this weird lookin white stuff appeared. Is this a bad thing?

Nope
It's possibly some form of mold or fungus, but it won't harm your T

If it offends you terribly, you can pull the bark hunk out and brush the crud off with a brass bristle brush

I would burn some holes in the sides of that container (1-2 rows 2/3 of the way from the substrate to the rim) with a soldering iron for ventilation and add a water dish while you are at it, too.

Remove the T when you burn the holes in the plastic. Those fumes are nasty.

I think I'm having a hard time seeing what you're talking about. I don't see anything of concern though beyond what was mentioned above.

yea, a brass bristle brush sounds about right. the lid on this tub is riddled w holes bat maybe another row around the side will help. I really dont like the look of that mold.

Its a sizable area for poop compared to the size of the sling so i dont belive so.
