Found her sadly today dead on the floor off her hide =( I tried smaller chrickets, and kept the waterdish full at every time, tried to keep her in a part off my flat that´s a lot less busy, every now and then I saw her wandering around ignoring the chrickets from what I saw, sometimes she was...
Hy guys,
I have a quick question about my poecilotherica metallica. She has moltet like 3-4 month ago, now one leg is shorter than the rest, did´nt notice something wrong in her behavior/movement before premolt but it seems that she must have dropped the leg at somepoint, but thats not the...
Well than it should be fine, really doesnt want to stress her out with my tongs getting that molt out off her hide, lets see if she is doing it herself.
Hy, my P. Metallica molted recently, she has webbed up the entrances shut and is now sitting in there hardening up I guess, my question is, will she look for a new "tree" to hide in or use the old one, because its really messed up by now with all her webbing, dirt and her old molt stuck inside...
Like in my profile picture? Low to the ground or is she sitting up high on her "toes" when walking? Would´nt worry to much about her dying as long she isnt doing a deathcurl. 23 is pretty old but if she has survived the molt I would say that old lady has still enough strength to not just simply...
Same here, glad your T is doing better, especially the last picture looks promising. Maybe it was the vaping gear, maybe it was´nt but will not hurt to keep it a little further away =)
She is about 4 to 5 cm dls, her abdomen is looking good so far, but havent feed her for 4 week´s since I got her, could be premolt, who knows =P But tong feeding isnt working because she gets spooked so easily. I mean just opening the front lid and she is gone, but usually she is sitting right...
I am pretty new in the hobby, but can a T maybe get a vestibular disorder? And that´s what we are seeing here? I only know it from chick´s they can have it after hatching, so that they cant walk or sit without tipping over. But does´nt know if a T has this type off organ, or how they figure out...
Hy Tschorm here again =P
Another question, this time because off a Poecilotherica Metallica, got a nice set up with a big branch and a nice vertical corkbarktube for her to hide in, what she does! But I have big time trouble feeding her because those dawn crickets wont go in there on there own...
Sry for the late answer, was busy the last days =/ But sure here are some Pics, really would like to have some life plants in there think my enclosures are looking a little fallow, tried with plants, but one got killed by spider and the other died off -.-
First picture are all off my...
Hy, got a question about my Chromatopelma Cyaneopubescens adult female, she is´nt webbing a lot and I am not sure why =/
Got also a sling thats maybe 1,5 cm at the moment he almost has webt his entire enclosure by now, and thats dispite the fact that its probably way to big for him at the moment...
Should be fine for a while, I can´t really see into the burrow, he was really hardworking on it for over 3 days, I knew they like to burrow so I gave him plenty off substrate and made a really big pre burrow but he has built himself a mansion down there, think rehouse will be the only option...
Well, could have saved some money was also afraid, now as the winter is coming, for the main heater in this house fail again, and brought an electric heater just in case, that the temps would drop to 55 maybe at night. Think my bigger problem will get the close to 100 in Summer at late...
Pretty sure he is hidding behind some furniture all day long at the moment when he just has eaten, if your door isnt having big enough gabs and the windows are shut he will have a hard time to get out off the house, I guess, but fingers crossed you will find it soon =)
I got another small...
