    What's this T ??

I went slack-jawed after reading your response. Can't believe that's how they're taking care of these poor Ts, and it's so generous of you having tried to rescue one of them. The red trapdoor looks insane too! Hope that he/she is doing better.

    Zoo Med Excavator substrate?

I came across several discussions about the Zoo Med Excavator at different forums, someone said he/she was worried that the sand and dust may clog the T's mouth and booklungs. May i ask what kind of soft substrate do you top it off for your Ts?

    Zoo Med Excavator substrate?

I went to the pet store to grab some new substrate for my T, the staff there recommended me this. I thought it was pretty awesome to make my T her own hideout and all. But after mixing it with water, leaving to dry, when it becomes rock hard i don't think she can burrow in it. After forming the...

    T's climbing problem.

About an hour ago, i checked on my A.Geniculata to see if she was okay and couldn't find her anywhere in the enclosure. I panicked, thinking she had escaped but then saw her clinging onto the lid. I'm really scared that she could climb fall without my presence and injure her abdomen :( I use a...

    What's this T ??

How unprofessional and irresponsible of the caretakers, poor things! Were the owner or staff there even aware of their deaths?

    Yay new T arrived

Congratulations! He/she looks absolutely gorgeous. ;) And ignore that negative asshat. To me he sounds like he can't even be happy with himself.

    Substrate and enclosure size advice?

My A.Geniculata's just molted recently and i decided it was time for her to get a new and bigger home (cause she's been living in the same box that she was in when i got her at the pet store). She now has a 3-inch legspan and i got her a 11-inch in length critter keeper. Is that too big for her...

My A.Geniculata just molted, when should she eat again?

I have an A.Geniculata (my first-ever T) that's just molted today and was wondering when i should start feeding her again. I googled about it and a post said it can depend on the tarantula's size. My T has a 3-inch legspan, i was thinking maybe at least a week? But when exactly is it good for...
