    P. Cambridgei webs air vents

I'm sure there will be enough airflow through the webbing. I definitely wouldn't remove all of it but I don't think she'd be bothered too much if you poked through it a tad to open up the vents.

US [WANTED] Latrodectus & Other Trues

-ANY Latrodectus -ANY Sicariid I'm looking to restart my Latrodectus collection. Trying to find a seller with multiple species and preferably slings. Also wouldn't mind adding some sicariidae or other interesting species to the order but latrodectus is the priority. Please don't hesitate to...

    Should I Rehouse

I would rehouse it pretty soon. I recommend giving pokies (or fast growers in general) decent sized enclosures that they can grow out in, that way you can minimize rehouses.

I got two more! Four Ts and one true spider and three jumping spiders and counting…?

That kahlenbergi is gorgeous! Really making me want to get more from the genus. Also I'm in love with your Eresus enclosure

    Hey

Thank you! Yes that’s the unfortunate thing about them. I was keeping quite a few Latrodectus species since they’re my favorite true spiders but it was pretty sad to keep losing them so fast. All I have now are my older females and I’ve decided not to get true spiders anymore.

    Water?

I keep all of my scorpions including H. arizonensis with water dishes. I don’t put as much effort into keeping them full like I do with tarantulas though. I’ve seen nearly all my scorpions use their water dish. Some people also mist a corner maybe once a week so they can drink water droplets...

    Feeding amounts

Not dumb at all, it’s an understandable concern considering that’s how it works for mostly any other animal! I’ve never heard of problems with feeding them a lot at once though so I’d say go for it

    Feeding amounts

I tend to feed my slings around twice a week, a small mealworm or dubia roach nymph. I only feed juveniles once a week and if they’re thin I’ll give them a large mealworm or two, especially after a molt. It sounds like you’re offering a nice amount of food imo, just a weird spider. It wouldn’t...

    Hey

Thank you! That’s exactly what brought me here, I love arachnoboards but it’s very unwelcoming to people trying to educate themselves.

    Hey

Hello everyone, I’ve been keeping arachnids for a few years and I’m moving over from arachnoboards. My interest started when I was younger from seeing other people keep exotic animals and wanting to get into the reptile hobby. I got very interested in snakes, specifically venom and toxinology...
