    Avic Avic in Exo Terra

Mine hasn’t either. My understanding is that arboreal species tend to do it up top on their web. Of course it isn’t always the case. My B.Smithii just did it upright rather than on its back, so.... Terrestrial so on the substrate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Avic Avic in Exo Terra

It’s a veterinarian disinfectant. Very effective but safe for the animals too. A F10 SC of 200ml will last years...

    Noobie - B.Smithi & A.Avicularia

And this morning. I will look tonight to see if there is enough to sex from. I might well have left it too late to reshape though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Avic Avic in Exo Terra

It was webbed the top corner above the bark into a hammock type thing. Found it sat there a few times. With regards to the tagging / graffiti I clean it off with a tissue sprayed with a dilute f10. Come off quite easily - I think a razor would be a tad ott. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My Sun Tiger and Red Knee

Looks quite different to mine.Yours has Longer thinner legs - less red/orange on the joints. Guess it could be because he’s male (not seen a molt from mine yet though). I thought the differences between the sexes with Smithies was less prominent than others. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The water dish. Is that half a castor wheel? Clever as it has the cricket safety in the middle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Avic Avic in Exo Terra

I have an Avicularia avicularia juvenile (3”?) in an Exo Terra 30x30x30 that I rehomed. It’s a fair set up as you can see from the photos. I added the white ramekin for a water dish as there wasn’t one. The previous owner sprayed daily. As I understand it, it’s better to have a good water dish...

    Noobie - B.Smithi & A.Avicularia

Still not too bothered by the heat this morning. Are there any signs of distress I should look out for? On the other hand my Pink Toe appears to crap on the front glass every night - not sure what she is trying to say?!? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

To be fair they are a little smaller in my experience. I think it’s because we have smaller portion sizes! [emoji12] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
