    Boris finally moulted yesterday but not only did he do it in the open but he didn't make a web. someone told me if I put the shed into some water it would open out and if I got a pic they could tell sex. I cant find the post now so I'm hoping they see this or someone else can tell me sex.

    not sure as didn not sure as didn't really notice colour just saw it was bare. he's back in his borrow now so leaving well alone incase he is moulting

    difficult to tell as he has about half of his rear end bare where he has flicked hairs out but I don't know what or why he has done this been like for a good 8 weeks way before went of food ect. but his legs look paler less colourful. the temp is 30C and humidity is 70C is this to much.

    OIC thanks he's not eaten for a while now so I'm thinking he going to shed as last time he didn't eat for 2 weeks can't wait for him to grow a bit more :-)

    that's what I thought but he's had no reason to flick them as apart from feeding at watering and chatting to him I don't do anything with him. He's back in his hide now and just sitting not moving so maybe is getting ready to shed. Thanks

    Thanks :-) I think I just worry more about him because he's the first spider I've had and he is very small for his age. not well looked after at previous home he's a lovely boy I also noticed he has a small bare patch on his rear. Is this something to worry about at all Thanks

    Boris finally came out for a photo shoot this is him/her. For size comparison that's the middle of a kitchen roll under him. He is meant to be 3 years old. He is eating well and has shed once since I got him.
