    My tarantula is acting differently???

Like I said, my roommate is my landlord so it’s not possible to raise the heat which is why I got a heat pad. She seems to like it though. Also I said that I want to add more substrate but am scared to take her out because she’s flighty. My question was about the flightyness and premolt (and the...

    My tarantula is acting differently???

Okay thanks! I understand that she’s not meant to be out all a lot but I got some more substrate to add into her enclosure and I need to be able to take her out to add it in! It could definitely be premolt because I noticed a small patch on her abdomen without hair and color, but she’s still...

My Tarantula ate 3 crickets at the same time! Is this okay?

She ended up getting them all down, lol she’s a Curley haired tarantula. I just got her about a month and a half ago and she hasn’t molted yet, I’m not sure when she will, but I did notice that her abdomen has a little patch with no hairs or color. Do you know if this could be a sign of pre molt?

It looked like a lot to handle to say...

We thought...

    New Tarantula Need Help!

Thank you. I know that a heating pad isn’t necessary, but my roommate/landlord keeps our house at 60 degrees so I thought that it would help. The roaches I fed were nymphs so about the same size as a feeder cricket. I could get some more substrate soon. Do you have some advice on how to get her...

    New Tarantula Need Help!

Hello, I am a new first time tarantula owner and picked up this beauty a little more than a week ago. She is a Curley haired tarantula named Lalaith. Because I’m new to this, I naturally am concerned about a few things. First, I am wondering if my enclose needs anything of if it looks okay(...
