No, no crickets. It didn't sound like a cricket at all. It was a very fast high pitched trill. I'll try to get him to do it again and I'll try to video/record it.
It was a silk plant leaf he was chewing on. Maybe that was it. It was the weirdest sound I’ve ever heard. And I know it was coming from his enclosure. Strange.
I was trying to take pictures of my male juvie Grammy. Had the lid up and trying to get my phone just right to take a picture. He was chewing on his greenery. Suddenly this really weird sound came out of him. It wasn’t a hiss. It was more like a little bird chirping very fast. Totally freaked me...
You are too kind. I have 2 of them now I got from net-bug/Anastasia but at 1/4 inch they’re so small it’s hard to see them. I was hoping to find some a little larger. But it is really tough. It worries me that they’re so small. I’ve never had slings that tiny.
Okay. To me she looks pretty big now. But I have no choice but to wait, huh? I thank you for the response. It really helped me understand more about her.
my PZB is a little over 3 years old and still stays buried. Why won’t she come to the top and hang out? Is there something I could do to help her be more on display?
