I've tried silkworms. Very nutritious, high in protein and calcium, low in fat, my 3 little 1 inch T's loved them.
The problem I had with them is that they grow quite fast, and here in Australia, I can't find anywhere that sells any less than 10 at a time, and rather expensive with shipping...

Yeah being from Australia, we don't have access to the beautifully coloured Ts you all have (which I envy) with import/export laws and all. Still, the browns, blacks, and greys with our old worlds are beautiful in their own way.
