Very beautiful Stirmi!!!!! I believe mine is at least 6inches and have had mine for close to two months. He’s in a 7x7x11 enclosure I ordered from Jaime’s Tarantulas which has mainly 3 inches of substrate with exception of the corners it’s closer to 4in due to the cross ventilation.
For myself...
I have him in a 7x7x11 enclosure from Jaime’s Tarantula. I’m guessing he’s at least 6inches, when would be a good time to transfer to a larger enclosure? Also, how many Isopods or springtails would you add? The substrate is mainly all organic coco fibre with a tiny amount of vermiculite.
While writing this post I heard a tumble sound, he’s been more active and standing up any advice? I imagine a larger enclosure would help but wondering about the climbing anyone else experience that? I love this T so much
Have a very healthy eater! Curious if these little nodules are normal at the very rear of abdomen bottom area? Just noticed it today while videoing a feeding. Using my iPhone for this post if it’s too blurry let me know. Thanks
My grammastola pulchra molted for the first time on August 18th, hadn’t eaten in over a month. Moved to new enclosure last night. I’m wondering if it’s too soon for a mealworm?

Thanks :). Literally just experimenting with some items I got for my new enclosure. I’m new to this and appreciate the feedback. My T hasn’t been housed in this, from what I’ve gathered this is too large of an enclosure.
Finally decorated this mansion for my bb, he or she is still very small might be awhile until I’m able to rehouse. Many thanks to Jamie’s Tarantulas for my 7x7x11” enclosure!
