one tip i can give is give some thought into making sure the housing is escape proof. ideally you want a door/lid that locks automatically as it closes .
i think the mesh is steel . but rather than take chances im probably goin to make a secondary lid
erlier on in my LP life i spotted her trying to cut thru vent bars on a small plastic roof it was intresing to watch and i had no doubtthat given time would hav cut thru
i like your original enclosure. as said above just give it time and dont keep opening the lid as it unsettles them. i personally would put in a very small prey with a bit of food for the prey to eat and leave it be . those gbb sometimes take a day to catch their prey is my observation
have any of your T chewed out the roof mesh of their terrarium?
