Wow that versicolor is beautiful. I love it when they show off their fangs, it's so impressive.
I fed mine a baby dubia yesterday, she sure does have a good appetite. If only I could get my rose hair to eat like that xD
Mine is in a small pasta strainer of all things, but I like it because...
Mine ate pretty quickly, the guy at the store said she ate the day before I got her, and she ate two days after that. As long as the abdomen looks good I wouldn't worry, sometimes the move just stresses them out.
She ate today, I accidentally put two in her enclosure, she grabbed one, put it down, then grabbed the other and ate it while standing over the first one. (She did eat the second one as well) Guess she was hungry xD
Lovely looking Ts, I had one until I moved to Maine and had to re-home her, she didn't come out very often though. They are beautiful, never knew you could house so many together (not that I would ever try).
I wouldn't use a heat pad because it can cook your T.
A picture would help, it's hard to tell without one. She may be about to shed, sometimes they get bald-ish dark spots on their abdomens when they are getting ready to molt.
I don't handle my Ts very often, but I like being able to do things in the tank without having to worry. And I have all terrestrial Ts right now, so she's something a bit different.
I've always wanted one, and it was kind of an impulse buy, I went in to look at geckos originally. She's been lovely so far, not aggressive at all, and no escape attempts beside when I first transferred her.
Hmm, I wonder what it is then? I don't mind either way, my heart wasn't set on an Avic Avic.
I will post there as well, maybe someone can ID Dahlia for me :)
I would go for a juvi or adult for your first one, slings are harder to keep alive, especially if you don't think you can get pinheads reliably. I think any of the species you listed would be a good one to start with (mine was a Mexican red knee). I've never had a golden knee, so I don't want to...
