Rehoused my M. balfouri today. The whole thing was uneventful. Lifted him out with his piece of wood, and into the new enclosure. The whole process lasted 10 minutes max. He stayed on his piece of wood the whole time. Currently that old wood piece is still in there, didn't want to disturb him more than necessary and he didn't seem to want to leave it, so I'm gonna get it out once he decides to go exploring his new home.
So, nothing exciting to report. Just gonna add a couple of images. I've had this tarantula for a year now. He was 2.5cm (1'') DLS when I got him. Today, he's about 8cm (a little over 3'') DLS.
