Pilot study into the genus Ischnocolus in the environs of Essaouira

There are numerous species of tarantula described in Morocco, with many likely awaiting discovery. This study observed the species living in the area surrounding Essaouira. My results show that the prominent species in the area is Ischnocolus mogadorensis and a population does indeed exist.
