I bought a cheap acrylic 'flat-pack' enclosure on eBay and thought I'd share it, because everyone likes an enclosure thread, right?
So it's from China and cost me £18 + £3.30 delivery. It measures 6"x6"x10" (150mmx150mmx250mm) and use 2.5mm thick clear acrylic.
Here it is setup for a P metallica sling after its next moult or two (or a P irminia if it grows faster):-
Front:
Back (cave):
Top:
Front (can just about see door open):
The only problem I had with the enclosure was that it felt slightly flimsy, so I put a few blobs of hot glue around the mortice/tenon joins. Feels solid now. I hot glued the hollow cork bark to the base before I put the substrate in too.
Looking forward to moving a new tenant in.
