I've acquired a mystery Sling from a shop that got them extra when they made the invert order, and were unsure of what they were. They came in with a total variety of species, so could be anything.
My best guess so far is a B. smithi possibly.

We had our first moly last night, and looking absolutely gorgeous already. Still don't know if that's any help, but figure I can track progress here too until we can determine species for sure.

Hi congrats on the moult it might darken up and might be able see a pattern , but I think it still might be too small . I would leave of feeding it for few days could damage itself if not harden up proper ,

N.chromates have a light carapace but maybe you can see next molt :).
I can check my small one
Ohhh any thoughts on so then? I've had a few people suggest that, and with the reddish rump and white joints I'd have thought that... Theyre actually darker than the picture suggests too, it keeps brightening it. Much closer to a dark charcoal base.
