Hello,
So long story short my husband thought he was doing the right thing by letting a jumping spider outside that had made a “home” inside his rolled up back brace. It wasn’t until he already peeled off the webbing that I walked up and realized what he had done. He let a momma go out in the bushes and peeled off the egg sac. Well, mom is gone and I want to give these spiderlings the best chance of survival. I live in FL so it’s either the Menemerus bivittatus or Plexippus paykulli. There’s still a thin layer of webbing holding them in and there’s a chance there’s some EWL in there, I won’t know for sure until I get home and look at it under the microscope. I have never cared for an egg sac so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
