I got some feeders a while back and after feeding had a couple of adults left over. I let them sit in a ziploc tub n fogot about them. 1 week later i open the tub and theres a brood of baby dubias. How can you tell the males from the females? How long do the adults live.?

Even as baby or juveniles you can tell which ones are male and female. I will find a pic from my colony and post it here. Basically males have the typical 4-wings at the top of the body

The black one is female: the “wings” near the head are not protruding. The females can have plumper body or long oval bodies; what you need to look for is how the wings look like.

The white one is a recently molted male. The “wings” will always be much protruded in males when you look at it dorsally. Most of the times, males will have much slender bodies, but they can be fat too and might appear like females. Again, what you will look for is the protrusion of the wings.

Those are the best pics i could get as they scurry and move real quick when the camera’s light is on.
