Any of the listed species "pet holes"?

Pterinochilus murinus. I currently have Juvi's that I have had for a few years, who I very rarely see. But I have had another who was always out. I guess I have to take into account that T's have personality and mine may be an outlier. Hopefully more people chime in here.

Any of the listed species "pet holes"?

I'm thinking of getting more T's in the future, but I'm trying to decide what to get next. I'm more of a look but don't touch owner with any of my terrarium pets, and prefer animals that are impressive in colour, form, and/or size. That's why most of the T's I've listed have quite the patterns...

Could also be trip wires. Mine has them laid at the entrance of her burrow so she can sense any food I place in the container.

    Golden Knee first web

No expert here, but from what I've read tarantulas can behave very differently from specimen to specimen. They even change behaviour from molt to molt, and I'd imagine environment plays a role too. Assuming its eating and molting well, and you have given it the opportunity to hide/burrow, I...

When am I feeding enough? Too much?

Just curious as my one sling (C. cyaneopubescens) is an absolute pig! I fed it along with the other 2 slings a cricket roughly as big as it was (1/2", maybe 3/4"). While feeding though a dead cricket got in the enclosure along with the live one. I figured I would pull it out after it finished...

    Hello from Northern Canada

These guys were supposed go show up Wednesday, but arrived yesterday. Homing them went without a hitch for all of them, though the GBB almost got away! The other two Ts were very calm and slow, and went straight to hiding. So far only the GBB ate. I have crickets in with the N. chromatus and G...

Substrate moisture for G. pulchripes, N. chromatus?

So I have some slings arriving soon: GBB @ 1", N. chromatus @ 3/4" and a G. pulchripes @ 1/2". I've had a GBB sling before, perhaps even a bit smaller then the one I'm getting now and know they are arid. I also know the signs of when a tarantula is unhappy with the dampness of a substrate. That...

Help me decide on my freebie sling

So right now I am in the process of ordering some slings and enclosures for them. I ordered a G. pulchripes and a C. cyaneopubescens and 3 AMAC enclosures for them. 1 for the cyaneo, the other 2 for the pulchripes for when it gets here and as it grows. However, I decided to take advantage of a...

    Hello from Northern Canada

Hey everyone, just joined the forum! In the process right now of getting a Chromatopelma cyanopubescans sling (1"), Grammostola pulchripes (1/2"), and waiting on a list of freebie slings I might be able to get. Total noob here, but I did have a 2" GBB a few years ago (would still have it if not...
