@SikmT7 I used it for a time for my snakes but stopped using it because it had sharp ends and got hooked in clothes and carpets.

@Enn49 I hear that! I been thinking of switching to spag peat, it's much fluffier and softer. I have it in my Pink Zebra Beauty's Terrarium.

@Phil Thank you so much for that advice, Phil! I was reading a care sheet about my Costa Rican Zebra and it said; "Unlike most terrestrial tarantulas, this one needs to be kept @ 80% humidity!" I am so glad you told me that because I have already misted her terrarium 3 times, but I run a dehumidifier in my room for a couple hours a day and have her in a 36x18x6 terrarium. It's a simple hefty plastic cargo container with a snap on lid that locks 4 times on each side, it's only 6 inches in height! I drilled several 3/4 inch holes through the lid. I also learned that these C Zebras are "Escape Artists" LOL So true, when I first got her, I had her in my hands while kneeling low to the floor and she literally jumped off my hands and took off running, so I calmly scoop her up in one hand and put the other hand over the top of her gently to secure her and poof, she pops right out of my hands into her terrarium, little sly one. I am open to any knowledge or advice that you have, it is a great way for me to become an expert eventually. Thank you again Phil!

@SikmT7 you are welcome. You may have already done this but did not see it in your update, I would also drill some holes in the side of the enclosure for some cross ventilation (preferably without your T in it......lol). This will help keep the substrate aerated and prevent mould issues if drilled at just above the substrate level. One final point on cafe sheets, what a lot of people fail to realise these days is that there are very few wild caught specimens in the hobby. Most come from captive bred stock and are reared as spiderlings in controlled/artificial conditions and so even though Costa Rica for example, may experience average humidity of 80% a year and temps of whatever, the spider you have has probably never been out of various sized plastic tubs in somebody's spider room all its life.......lol A good supplier will tell you temps/humidity they have kept the T in, how it is feeding, general behaviour etc so always try to get info from him/her. I hope this helps and look forward to you sharing more posts and also I hope increasing your collection. It is a very very addictive hobby.

@Phil True indeed Phil! I am definitely going to drill more holes in the side of the enclosure. And yes, that is an excellent point that you have mentioned about wild caught species. I never really took that into consideration, it definitely makes lots of sense. Most T's you buy now are CB and have no recollection of their original environment. This is the first Costa Rican Zebra I have ever owned, for most of my experience, I have owned the docile and calm species, but this one is a total different T, she is very shy. She is very well acclimated to her environment now, she doesn't even flinch when I clean her water bowl and open the enclosure, she is such a sweetheart. Yes, this hobby is extremely addictive, 3 is definitely not enough for my collection lol. Again, I appreciate everything my friend, will keep you updated on my new editions! Have a great day bro!
