What to do, what to do??

My A.Chalcodes, Cal, matured last September. He hasn't eaten in over 6 months, which I know is normal. The last month he has started making a sperm web. It makes me sad that he is working so hard for nothing.

He was wild caught when he hitched a ride home with my husband from a camping trip in the desert. He is why I got into T's and he is very special to me.

My dilemma is this.... My husband will be going back to the spot where Cal came from this weekend. I'm wondering if I should have him take him back so he can complete his "circle of life". I don't know if this would be easier for me or one day finding him dead in his enclosure. Would he have a chance of surviving?

What would you do if you were in my position?

Either way will be hard for you but I think I'd let him go back to finish his life doing what he is meant to do.

I’d let him go if you have no plans of getting a mature female, I’d love to have this option with Ts. I keep Eratigena Atrica and just release them if there mature male’s
