Total Newbie

I am totally new to T's and, well, inverts in general.
I joined because I am interested (and excited) to dip my toe into the tarantula pool, something a year ago I never would have guessed haha.
After a fair amount of looking I believe I have my heart set on a C. Versicolor.
I currently have crested geckos (hoping to breed when my females come of size), they are the closest thing I've had to T's haha.
At this point I'm just wanting a pet, and am not interested in breeding.

Your forum is an amazing resource, I have already learned so much! Thank you for sharing your wisdom

Welcome Piratehorse, love the name. Care to school me on cresteds? I just partially moved away from T's, and towards reptiles. I have a red ackie, my first lizard. Crested geckos are very appealing to me..
