Why do people make out that false widows are these creatures of nightmare, here is a section copied from there website

“The noble false widow is the most dangerous of all the spider species in the wild in Britain because of its powerful venom and huge population numbers.

They’ve been responsible for city wide school closures because of the immense threat they pose — which in some cases has led to Limbs being amputated and even death.”

Where are they getting this information from, they should be speaking to an entomologist specialising in arachnids. Reading this is an embarrassment considering the types of spiders found elsewhere in the world that don’t make the papers or close schools or kill people it’s a joke. Anyway rant over

The one thing about the Sun that really fasinates me is the way that those who read it, so often leave it sitting on the dashboard of the vehicle, (normally a van,) with the Sun Logo on display. You almost never see a real newspaper sitting on display like that & the mentalist (cold reader) in me finds such behaviour interesting.

I wonder if it's the same Sun that's sold here in the states. It's about as credible as The National Inquirer, The Weekly World News, and The Star... Total tabloid garbage. Most of the "serious" newspapers are leftest agenda crap, too. Only thing worth reading in most American newspapers is the comic section, and that's really stretching it at best.

I'll be honest I used to work in the construction industry and the sun was very common . Not trying to offend anyone but in general the people in the industry on the ground (not managers in offices and that) out in the vans and stuff aren't very literate and the sun provides easy reading. This isn't saying they aren't good at their job. But paperwork and language isn't a strong point (myself included)

Yet the biggest mystery of all, is why The Sun's crossword puzzle has gone so difficult of late?!! How do they expect their average reader to complete it? Pmsl :D :D :D :D

I served my apprenticeship as a bricklayer & then worked for a mixture of small builders & civil engineers for a few years. I also spent a few years, many years later doing freelance truck driving etc. So I too have spent a few years around the construction industry in various ways. In some ways I was lucky I got out before the industry degraded to what it is now. I had a labourer/ friend, who was a mental health nurse, who made me want seek out different paths.

I worked with several people who had both degrees & trade qualifications. But at that time the building trade attracted a people who often did not fit into other ways of life. With the industry being far more relaxed & thus much less controlled by the office types, than it is now. Later going back in as an HGV driver, it was not uncommon to have some fool from an office walk 200 yards plus across an empty site to tell you, that you needed to wear a high viz vest on as you needed to be seen!!!!! And I once got thrown off a site for refusing to put a safety hat on when I got out of my trucks cab, whilst I was parked in a car parking area during my lunch break, as it was "site rules." :eek:o_O I also once left one site without unloading, as site rules said I had to wear a high viz vest & a safety hat to walk from the cab to the back of the truck, even if I was parked on a public road. Not a clever thing to do, when it was something your trades people are waiting for & which had been ordered on special delivery as a result.

I am dyslexic, but that effects my spelling, hand writing & grammar. But not my reading ability, nor my intellect.
