Quick question for those who are experienced in keeping slings, how often should you mist a slings enclosure, more specifically an A. chalcodes sling?
yeah, i've just heard that slings need slightly more moisture because they are only small so wasn't too sureI believe an A. chalcodes is the AZ Blonde. Desert Tarantula
Aphonopelma slings will bury themselves. Slightly damp substrate towards the bottom and dry at the top allows the sling to choose the best conditions for itself.yeah, i've just heard that slings need slightly more moisture because they are only small so wasn't too sure.
ah i see, thank youAphonopelma slings will bury themselves. Slightly damp substrate towards the bottom and dry at the top allows the sling to choose the best conditions for itself.
A corner with damp moss on the surface will suffice in lieu of a water dish for slings.
I don't mist, personally. Some species will get "rain" but not mist.
