Hi All,

What types of shelving unit do you guys use to place your tarantula enclosures on?

I would like to acquire some for my tarantula room. Thanks!

Can't find the link but I use the Sweet Crispy shelves from Amazon and modify them. You could drill your own holes to make it fit 8 x 8 x 12" enclosures, because they won't fit as is. They look really nice and match my furniture.

Do you want them for esthetic or functionality? If you want neat looking ones, Amazon would be easiest to order from. Otherwise, hardware stores have the heavy duty/ sturdy ones. Wouldn't use plastic as they warp a lot over time.

Facts, though Amazons dimensions are wrong for a lot of shelves available. I returned countless ones until I found the Sweet Crispy and made the mods myself. I'll take some pics when I get the chance.

A user named Ramen posted a thread/guide on Arachnoboards and he is the reason why I went with this option.

Yeah, the dimensions are questionable at best, I'll give you that. Gotta check those reviews well. I'm an esthetic gal, so I kinda work with what I like. It's not always in my favor but I make it happen
