have you guys been haired by caterpillars with urticating hairs? (not exactly haired, but you get my point). if so, which do you think is worse? tarantula hairs of caterpillar hairs?

its hard to gauge who has the worse hair since people react different to them. not to mention spider hair has a greater chance in getting on place that caterpillar hair wouldn't get on (hands are the most likely area caterpillar hair come into contact with). however it should be noted that some caterpillars are actually venomous and have killed people.

didnt know that they had hairs, do they in europe or did they evolve before that split/maybe they evolve in the knew world alongside the tarantula hairs, because of a difference between the old and new world

don't quote me on this part but any "fuzzy" caterpillar you see those are actually urticating hairs
