As Horned Baboon says, those are fine. I am currently using a large box full of used trays, which I brought off ebay. A pub restaurant were trying to optimise profits at a tough time. I also use folded up cardboard from things like boxes & sometimes I will cut the corner off boxes, as that adds space for them to cluster in. Flat cardboard over the top of trays encourages roaches to use the top layer of trays.

You should probably learn more about good T husbandry then.
Check out Tom Moran and you'll see the difference between good husbandry information and clickbait for millenials.
I agree with you completely but as I believe Horned Baboon to be fairly young he deserves patience from older hobbyists and encouragements :)
Exotic Lair is entertainment (my 9 years old watch it as well as the Dark Room) but we have to acknowledge that even if we disagree with a lot of what is posted on the channel (they are making content for views, not for seasoned breeders!) it does bring a lot of new and younger people to the hobby, which I believe is good for everyone. With enough time and guidance, I trust Horned Baboon will get to realize on his own that some or a lot of what is being showed is questionable ;)
Cheers.

That's why I recommend checking out Tom Moran. He will be blown away and see the difference immediately.
I didn't mean for my post to come off aa gruff or anything, just there are some far better options when it comes to husbandry information.
Let's face it. We all know the plot to every Exotics Lair video by heart. Wave your hand in front of the T a few times to agitate it. It threat poses or slaps a few times. He says "Whoa! What's going on with you?!" And he barely escapes with his life. I personally don't see that as informative nor entertainment for a T hobbyist.

I think Horned Baboon will be fine as well. It's only a small percentage of people that actually find their way to a specialist forum because they are seeking all the best info on their charges. That alone makes him a better keeper already.

Exotics lair is what made me start collecting T’s. I started watching his videos every since. He also taught me a lot. But after seeing your opinions, I will try my best to listen to you.
