Premolt?

My C. Versicolor has recently built a nest and started refusing food is it going into premolt?

Most likely, is it plump? If it isn’t fat it is probably fasting.

It doesnt look like its skin is streching so maybe it is just fasting. I will just keep offering food every day and wait for it to start eating again. I should also add that I dont know when it molted last.

Possibly premolt. How big is she?

Food refusal and hiding away are very typical signs of premoult. One of mine has been in premoult for about 5 weeks now.
Don’t panic... it could just simply be that it isn’t hungry.

That's what mine does before molting. Keep the water dish full!! Just before mine molts, she takes a really big drink.

So I figure I should give every one an up date on my C. Versicolor and whether it was premolt and hunger strike. The conclusion is hunger strike and today it finally took food. Thanks for the responses I got.
