Absolutely :) Care to pay the costs to import them yourself and then sell them for the same price you purchase for?
    Didn't think so. ;)
Oh and I contacted him prior to (not that it's really any of your business unless you intend on making a purchase but I do enjoy educating :) )

Anyone here may feel free to do exactly what I am doing and order directly from him themselves if they wish..... :) (treading carefully, of course)

    Nothing to hide, sweety..... :D

But i forgot...thats what sellers do! They make these huge purchases for stock....then once they come in to their port of entry and clear customs, they sell them (and this is the BEST part) for the EXACT SAME PRICE they purchased them for!!! Unreal isn't it! To spend all that money and not make $1!
Be sure to ask every other vendor on here exactly where they get their stock from. I'm sure they'll tell you. Lol

Many people forget the cost of legal importing lol.
Many things come into play such as:
Exporter personal fees (care, housing, etc)
    Exporter packaging fees
    AWB (air bill)
    Customs fees
    Broker Fees
    ETC

It can easily add up several thousand dollars, on top of your import itself!
Plus if you order directly from an overseas seller, and you do get it shipped directly to yourself from them, you're breaking the law.

SARNAC has a nice selection. Keep up the good work Casey!

Thank you, Austin. Some people don't understand the costs associated with importing. Nice website, btw (think I'm just gonna pay someone to do mine, lol). Looks like you're doing well for yourself and I'm glad to see you are moving up, sweety! :)

Some would argue it's possible to import legally and make profit by adding a healthy price increase maybe even 50-75% of the purchase price which is a good margin on any sale but charging 300%+ because you can ($300 for a $90 P. rufus)? That's considered price gouging and kind of borders on ethical business, "sweety". But who wants to make US tarantula prices any lower than possible when they're the ones selling them right?

If you don't like Casey K's prices go ahead and order them yourself from SARNAC on AB but please let us know exactly how much it costs you on top of his prices, I'm sure we'd all be very interested in how much cheaper you can get them

Not only that, but I’d be interested to see if they make it past us customs, because you’d be labeled a brown boxer and would easily face thousands in fines, and prison time.
But, I guess it’s the best way to save money.

Or I can not do either and buy from someone with reasonable prices in the US? Not sure how you can defend someone charging $230 EXTRA on top of the $90 she's paying for 1 tarantula but whatever you wanna do lol. At that rate I'd think those export fees would be covered very quick, since selling literally only 8 tarantulas would be $2,000+ on top of what she paid lol... Not sure where your arguments get around that point.

Charging 2-3x the original purchase price in retail is not unknown or uncommon if purchased via import and if you pay close attention to my post, that's a FEMALE P. rufus. Dare you to find one in the US for less than $300 at that size. I've seen adult females sell for over $600.

It's your choice to purchase tarantula's from anyone you please. I'm not holding a gun to your head and forcing you to purchase anything from my list. I don't see why you're arguing about my post or my prices if you don't intend on making a purchase (even then, arguing would defeat the purpose of purchasing to begin with. It's a catch 22). You're trolling my thread.

Usually retailers make about 25%-50% on a given item sold, and though it isn't illegal just 100% is considered price gouging (and is actually illegal for certain items in a time of crisis, though admittedly not Ts). I did pay attention and I know its a female (also saw it on SARNAC's thread first) but what does that have to do with you charging someone $230 extra to buy this single T?

Bringing up irrelevant points like obviously I have freedom lol. You could not have replied to my post trying to disregard my point (if you know your prices are so great), made it seem like you wanted further clarification. I wasn't even trying to be rude just perplexed how your list was the same with all prices doubled and tripled, however your reply trying to belittle wasn't too professional.

Where do you keep getting the # $230 extra???? I'm not the one stating my prices are "anything". You are under an assumption. Do my prices have to be great? Can I not charge $600 for a T. blondi sling if I want to? You know what's funny? My prices fluctuate. I do give good deals on most of my posts (imo) and I have a lot of revenue because of it. If I decide to charge extra for certain species, what's the problem? I've seen countless vendors charge out the ass for rare species. Example: If i decide to order T. seladonia slings and charge $600 a piece for them....is that not my right? If I pay $200-250 a piece for a 10 lot or more? I'm still not understanding your arguement. It's completely invalid. I wasn't trying to belittle you. You could've pm'd me with your initial question if you had any concern but it seems your attempt to try and "flag" me for whatever reason has backfired on you. If your concern was merely personal, why respond to my thread with your question? It appears you had ulterior motives.

How did anything backfire for me this isn't even my sales thread? Lol. But it's $210 actually not 230, which is the 300-90 for the P. rufus. Like I said also compiling public data so that buyers will know how much they're paying you and how much is actually for the tarantulas. Other vendors charging even more up the ass than $210 on top of what they paid are definitely price gouging as well but I'm not sure the relevance to what you're doing..

Compiling public data? Lmao. There's nothing wrong with that but you act as if everyone in this forum has an import license and they all purchase from SARNAC. This data would only mean something to someone such as my dear friend @Austin S. or perhaps Pinchers and Pokies..... if the average collector wants to obtain their license then I could see how this information would be useful but without it, it's completely irrelevant. I don't understand your motive.

Pretty sure you're just talking nonsense lol. How would knowing you charge 200-300% be useful to other breeders or people interested in a license? That seems irrelevant. You've given no useful information in this thread on obtaining a license and neither has anyone else... The only thing here that would help someone slightly interested in getting an import license would be seeing your markups and being more motivated to go get said license lol. You're trying to run in circles I already stated why I posted multiple times, and you replied to that already, reread the past posts if you forgot.
