PNW interested in spiders

Interested in getting my first Tarantula. A couple questions: my bedroom can be a little drafty. Could this be harmful? Are there certain species that do better in the humid but chilly Pacific Northwest? (Salem Oregon.) Also just here to say hi!

I live in Oregon...they all do fine here. I've got over 400 and none of them have complained yet.

I too live in Oregon and have never had any issues with any species. I’ve got all my Tarantulas from @Arachnoclown , he supplies a lot of the exotic pet stores in Portland.
