I'm a "beginner-intermediate" keeper when it comes to scorpions so any help would be appreciated. This species was caught in the Palm Springs area in Southern California. I've narrowed it down to Hadrurus or Centruroides. Thank you all for your help!!!! :)

Tough call with about 60 species of scorpions in CA :D
By the look of it I would imagine a juvenile Desert Hairy so my money is on Hadrurus.
Good luck.

This is a Paravaejovis species, either P waeringi or P puritanus, i cannot id to species without a better shot in good lighting and higher resolution showing details like carinae (ridges comprised of small bumps)
